Over the weekend I decorated for fall and to celebrate I made Apple Cider Donuts.
Let me tell you they are amazing! The first step to making them is to reduce apple cider for a more concentrated flavor – it also helps make your kitchen or in my case my entire 700 sq. ft. apartment smell like warm apples & cinnamon.
I got the recipe from here so we all have Sally’s Baking Addition to thank.
I did get creative and tried adding apple chunks into the batter for the second round of baking.
These didn’t turn out as pretty as the first batch and they were a little more moist in the middle but they still tasted good.
This was a household hit and a must do again!
