There are those people that smoothie everyday. I got into it once and was pretty consistent for a few months but then fell off the wagon, or is it a bus? Anyway, I’m impressed with people who can eat the same thing every. single. day. There is something to said about a healthy routine. But for me, I get bored easily, and need a variety of options. I can’t even have the same leftovers more than once.
If you’re looking for a smoothie that helps you jump start your day, this one is my favorite. It’s simple but still has a lot of ingredients that will keep you energized, full and satisfied until lunch.
Breakfast Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup Baby Kale
- 1 cup Baby Spinach
- 1 cup Frozen Fruit of Your Choice
- 1 Banana
- 1 TBSP Peanut Butter or PB Powder
- 1 cup Milk Skim, Almond, Oat, any preference
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. *If you prefer a thinner consistency, add water until you reach your desired preference. I do this for my toddler too.
