Filet a Fish

This will be short and sweet.  I just wanted to say that I (me!) took a fluke fish, and trimmed off four filets.  It was a lot easier than I thought and a lot less gross than cleaning chicken bones for stock.  Here is a picture of my friend.


We poached the fish and I tasted it – for those who don’t know, I have never tried seafood, my dad is allergic and my mom never ate it, I’m happy to report I did not have an allergic reaction. I wasn’t a huge fan of the taste…

This week we are doing it again but with trout (I may not seem excited, but I am, I’m having a great time in class… but they have eyes and those eyes stare at you the ENTIRE time)
