Bacon, Egg and Gouda Breakfast Casserole (inspired by Starbucks Egg Bites)
So incredibly delicious, crispy bacon, warm fluffy eggs with a mild creamy cheese, but now with a bag of frozen tater tots tossed in, it is the breakfast casserole of champions.
0.5ozGouda Cheese - shredded(about 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese)
1tspSalt
1tspBlack Pepper
16ozFrozen Tater Tots
Fresh Chives
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F and spray a 9x13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
6 Eggs, 3 cups Milk
Add in the bacon, cheese, salt, pepper and tater tots. Stir until it's evenly distributed.
6 slices Bacon - cooked and chopped, 0.5 oz Gouda Cheese - shredded, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Black Pepper, 16oz Frozen Tater Tots
Pour mixture into the prepared casserole dish and bake at 350F for 60-75 minutes until the egg mixture is done. It may still have a very slight jiggle.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes to allow everything to set up. Top with freshly cut chives for garnish.
