Ingredients
1lbGround Beef
1cupOnion - small diced(about ½ onion)
1TBSP Yellow Mustard
2tsp Garlic Salt
1tsp Oregano
15 ozCanned Tomato Sauce
1 - 1½cupsWater
8ozCampanelle Pasta
¼tspSalt
8oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese - shredded off the block
Instructions
In a large pan, over medium heat, add the ground beef and diced onion. Using a spatula, break up the ground beef into small pieces. Cook until the ground beef is brown and the onions are fragrant and soft, about 5 minutes.
1 lb Ground Beef, 1 cup Onion - small diced
Add in the mustard, garlic salt and oregano. Stir to combine and let it cook for about 1 minute.
Stir in the canned tomato sauce until evenly distributed, cook for about 3-5 minutes.
15 oz Canned Tomato Sauce
Add in a cup of water and let it come up to a boil (rolling bubbles)
1 - 1½ cups Water
Add in the pasta and salt. Cook until the pasta is done, about 10 minutes. If the sauce is thickening too quickly, add the additional ½ cup of water. If the water is evaporating you can also put a lid on.
8 oz Campanelle Pasta, ¼ tsp Salt
Over very low heat, stir in the shredded cheese until melted into the sauce.
