Ingredients
8ozBrie Cheese
¼cupHoney
1TBSPBrown Sugar
1tspVanilla Extract
1tspGround Cinnamon
⅓tspSalt
2TBSPCorn Meal
1sheetPuff Pastry thawed in the refrigerator
6ozFresh Cranberries
1cupRoughly Chopped Walnuts
1Zest of an Orange for Garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the brie cheese wheel into bite size pieces, about 16 wedges.
8 oz Brie Cheese
In a small bowl, combine the honey, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Stir until fully mixed together. Roughly chop the walnuts.
¼ cup Honey, 1 TBSP Brown Sugar, 1 tsp Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon, 1/3 tsp Salt
On the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, sprinkle the corn meal and roll out the puff pastry.
2 TBSP Corn Meal, 1 sheet Puff Pastry
On the puff pastry, lay out the brie wedges. Add on the honey sugar mixture.
Dump on the cranberries and walnuts, making sure to leave about a one inch border edge of puff pastry.
6 oz Fresh Cranberries, 1 cup Roughly Chopped Walnuts
Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes until the puff pastry is golden brown, the cranberries have popped and the brie cheese has melted. Sprinkle on some fresh orange zest. The sugar mixture will spill over the sides and burn but that's okay! It will break off and not affect the tart - I promise. Let the tart cool on the pan on a wire rack. When it's cool enough to handle, pull the parchment paper with the tart on top off of the baking sheet so it can continue to cool on the wire rack. Cut and serve.
