Bubbly, pipping hot buffalo chicken dip has been on the scene for decades. It’s an internet favorite and everyone has a recipe. This one will have your guests swooning. This is not your ordinary dip, it will change your life for ever.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
It needs no introduction or explanation, it is literally hands-down one of the best and favorite party dips. This recipe takes it to the next level with an extra butter-breadcrumb-Parmesan-cheese crumble on top that is toasted to perfection. The bubbly hot spicy buffalo chicken dip oozes out of the crumble making it irresistible.
The Ingredients are Simple
- A 8oz block of cream cheese: Any type, at room temperature.
- Shredded chicken: Use cooked canned chicken, leftover chicken or pull it off of a grocery-store cooked rotisserie.
- Blue cheese crumbles: Make sure to grab the soft blue cheese crumbles, not salad dressing. You can usually find a container of blue cheese in the speciality cheese section of your grocery store.
- Medium cheddar cheese: A soft creamy cheddar. Freshly shredded off the block is a must for this recipe for the best flavor and the smooth creamy melted cheese pull we all love.
- Ranch dressing: Grab your favorite from the grocery store. Get something full of flavor and creamy.
- Buffalo hot sauce: Get the brand you love. Choose the heat you desire.
- Parmesan cheese: The key is to use grated Parmesan not shredded. The smaller fine grated cheese will perfectly blend into the breadcrumb mixture. Parmesan cheese is very hard, I like to get it already grated from the grocery store to save me the work. You can find a container of it in the speciality cheese section of the grocery store.
- Breadcrumbs: Regular breadcrumbs are all that you need!

Parmesan Breadcrumb Crumble
The extra texture of the toasty buttery Parmesan breadcrumb crumble is so delicious. That extra crunch gives the dip the best kind of extra, trust me on this.
The nutty-sharp-bold Parmesan cheese really adds an extra layer of flavor that helps cut through the creaminess and soft flavors of the cream cheese, ranch dressing.
Make Ahead, Serve Pipping Hot
Make ahead recipes are ideal for potlucks, parties and hosting a crowd. To make ahead, combine all of the ingredients in the recipe, place it in the casserole dish, cover and refrigerate until you’re ready to bake. Once the oven is preheated to 350F, follow the rest of the recipe 4-8.
If you have leftovers, place them in a food container with a lid and refrigerate, it will stay good for up to one week.
