These white chocolate peppermint muddy buddies are so additive! I look forward to the holidays every year just for this sweet treat! An easy and perfect way to add a little holiday cheer to your holiday party, office potluck or just to have around your house. With 4 ingredients it’s super simple to make in big batches to share with all of your family, friends and co-workers.
One of my favorite things about these white chocolate peppermint muddy buddies is that they are perfectly white like snow making them festive for the holidays. Unlike the original muddy buddies recipe, these are also nut-free and gluten-free making them easy to share with friends and family.
Chex Cereal
Chex cereal is a favorite at my house. For this recipe I highly recommend Rice Chex. The Corn Chex are the next best. In my opinion, the Wheat Chex seem to have a different crunch and do not taste good in this recipe so consider yourself warned.
Rice and Corn Chex are gluten free, if you are looking for that option.
White Chocolate Peppermint Chips
When I first started making this recipe, Ghirardelli made the best white chocolate peppermint piece chunks but they have since discontinued it, they still make a bark but it has milk chocolate in it, I have not tested that.
If you live near a Trader Joe’s they carry the bags of white chocolate peppermint chips during the holiday season that work perfectly for this recipe.
Lily’s is another option. I’m not sure if they carry these in the store, I found them on amazon.
